Research

Dr Vernon’s doctoral research focuses on personality structure, relational functioning, and the assessment of complex psychological patterns. His doctoral research utilises structured clinical interview methods and psychometric assessment tools ( STIPO-R and YSQ) to examine personality structure and functioning in help-seeking, non-offending adults with paedophilic interests. This work aims to contribute to more precise psychological assessment and formulation in this population, and to inform child sexual abuse prevention initiatives.
